By the time you read this, #RamadanReadathon will already be over in many parts of the world. As the month draws to an end, it’s time to reflect on how successful it’s been, discuss what lies ahead, and to catch up on anything you may have missed.
From the readathon, to blog posts, author interviews, giveaways and Twitter chats, it’s been such a busy month at Ramadan Readathon HQ but it has most definitely paid off. Zoya and I can’t thank everyone enough for your support of this initiative – fellow bloggers, authors and publishers – and although this was originally a one-off event, it’s clear now that we are only just beginning. I’m really looking forward to what lies ahead in terms of this readathon, as well as branching out and finding other ways we can support Muslim voices in the wake of widespread Islamophobia.
Here, you’ll find links to all of our posts, author interviews and Twitter chats, as well as my own reviews of the six books I managed to read!
And that’s a wrap! Did you participate in the readathon? What was your favourite part of the initiative? Should it become a yearly event? Make sure to follow our Twitter and Instagram accounts to stay up-to-date with our future endeavours!
