Salaam everyone! #RamadanReadathon 2019 is officially over, though it’s taken me a while to actually get around to writing this wrap-up post. I hope everyone had a productive month and a blessed Eid, regardless of whether or not you celebrate! And I just wanted to thank everyone who participated in the readathon for your wonderful enthusiasm.

THE TWITTER CHAT
Yasmin Rahman, author of the upcoming All The Things We Never Said, joined us to discuss her debut novel, mental health and #MuslimShelfSpace! You can catch up on the conversation here.
Thank you again to all the authors who got involved with #RamadanReadathon, all the bloggers who shared their recommendations and all the readers who took part!
For the readathon, I finished reading The Light At The Bottom Of The World by London Shah, started reading The Sealed Nectar and then ditched my entire TBR to read All The Things We Never Said by Yasmin Rahman and We Hunt The Flame by Hafsah Faizal.
Outside of the readathon, I really enjoyed the #MuslimVoicesRiseUp blog series hosted by Fadwa @ Word Wonders, Adiba Jaigirdar and Aimal @ Bookshelves and Paperbacks! If you want to read my contribution, I expressed my frustration with performative solidarity and discussed How To Be A Good Ally To Muslims alongside Ilsa @ A Whisper Of Ink!
And that’s a wrap on #RamadanReadathon 2019! Did you participate in the challenge? How much progress did you make on your TBR?
It’s never too early to start planning for next year so here’s a reminder that you can get in touch via email: muslimreadathon (at) gmail (dot) com if you want to collaborate or get involved!
